Asparagus wrapped in proscuitto

  • 8 pcs sparagus, ends trimmed
  • 8 slice Prosciutto
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 0.2 tsp pepper, fresh ground

  1. Trim off the tough ends of asparagus spears, wash thoroughly, and pat dry with paper towel.
  2. Wrap each asparagus spear with a thin slice of prosciutto.
  3. Brush the wrapped spears with olive oil.
  4. Lightly season with pepper to taste.
  5. Place spears over medium heat on charcoal or gas grill.
  6. Cook until prosciutto is crisp and asparagus is tender but not limp.
  7. Serve while still hot.
