Broccoli - tomato salad

  • 1 pcs Broccoli
  • 1 pcs medium red onion, chopped
  • 75 g raisins
  • 2 pcs cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 240 g sharp cheddar, cut into tiny chunks
  • 6 pcs slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 50 ml olive oil
  • 2 tbsp white wine vinegar
  • 1 pinch fresh ground salt
  • 1 pinch colour pepper mix, freshly ground
Preparation

  1. Clean the broccoli head and cut it into flowerets
  2. Steam the broccoli in a steamer for about 15 minutes.
  3. Meanwhile, take a pan and bake bacon. Put aside.
  4. In a large bowl, combine the broccoli, raisins, bacon, and the cheese.
  5. Combine the remaining sauce ingredients in a small bowl and the contents to the broccoli mixture. Toss well to combine.
  6. You are ready to serve.
