Cheese dip

  • 300 g cream cheese
  • 100 ml milk
  • 50 g butter, unsalted
  • 1 pcs egg yolk
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 pinch freshly ground black pepper

  1. Combine the milk, egg yolk, and salt in a bain maries and blend them while constantly stirring.
  2. Add the cream cheese then melt it into the mixture.
  3. Blent the dip completely to get a homogene cream that covers the back of a cooking spoon.
  4. Set aside to cool.
  5. Before serving, sprinkle the fresh ground pepper on it.
  6. Serve with toasted bread sticks.
