Cheese&poppy seeds crisps

Great crackers to bring to school. You can experiment with different types of hard cheese.

  • 150 g Cheddar, grated
  • 1 tbsp Poppy seeds

  1. Preheat oven to 160°C.
  2. Grate the cheese.
  3. Combine cheese and poppy seeds in a small bowl.
  4. Line a baking tray with baking paper.
  5. Place spoonfuls of cheese mixture on the tray.
  6. Repeat the process until you have no mixture left, leaving 3cm apart between cheese piles.
  7. Slightly flatten cheese piles and set the tray into the oven.
  8. Bake until the top of the crisps starts to be brownish.
  9. Take them out from the oven and set aside to cool for a minute.
  10. Carefully remove from the parchment paper and serve.

These crisps are delicious garnish for salads or cream soups too.
