Fried polenta sticks

  • 500 g fresh polenta
  • 4 tbsp olive oil
  • 60 g parmesan, grated
  • 1 tsp sage, chopped
  • 1 tsp rosemary, chopped

  1. Preheat broiler and prepare a baking sheet by lining it with oil and brushing with olive oil.
  2. Unmold the polenta base and knead in the chopped herbs.
  3. Cut the polenta base into sticks of about 4x1”.
  4. Brush the polenta sticks liberally with olive oil and spread them on the baking sheet.
  5. Broil for about 20 minutes until golden.
  6. Sprinkle the hot polenta sticks with the grated cheese and serve.
