Roasted brussels sprouts with bacon

  • 680 g brussels sprouts, cut in half
  • 4 slice bacon, chopped
  • 2 tbsp ghee
  • 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 1/4 tsp fresh ground salt
  • 1/4 tsp freshly ground black pepper

  1. Preheat oven to 200°C.
  2. Trim brussels sprouts ends and remove any old leaves; cut sprouts in half.
  3. Set brussels sprouts in bowl and combine with melted ghee; season with salt and pepper.
  4. Line baking sheet with foil and set brussels sprouts on; sprinkle with diced bacon.
  5. Bake brussels sprouts for 30 minutes.
  6. Set on wire rack to cool slightly; drizzle with balsamic vinegar before serving
