Simple pear baby meal

Baby food for the beginningFridgeConvert baby food

This pear purée is suggested to be served as a lunch or snack. As dinner, it can hurt the baby's young stomach during the night.

  • 1 pcs bigger pear
  • 1 pcs cinnamon stick
  • 1 tbsp water

  1. Peel the pear. Cut into slices, discard the seeds.
  2. Cut the pear into cubes then add into a pot with the water.
  3. Gently stew it by adding the cinnamon stick for a moment.
  4. Take away the cinnamon, then take the pear out into the blender.
  5. Blend the pear.

Good points

  • No saturated fat

Do not add ground cinnamon to baby food, or the cinnamon stick for a long time during the cooking process. A slight cinnamon flavour makes the pear better as a dessert, but a harsh cinnamon flavour may be too much for a baby. It also has a strong excitant effect.

For babies under 7 months, avoid the cinnamon stick too!
